Workshop
The activity includes a dedicated workshop which will be held from 27th August to 31st August.
The aim of this four week long activity at the Riemann Center for Geometry and Physics is to bring together specialists from different areas of mathematics working on various aspects of cubic hypersurfaces. The topics of this activity include:
- rationality questions for cubic hypersurfaces
- birational geometry of moduli spaces of cubics
- derived categories related to cubic fourfolds
- cubic hypersurfaces and the geometry of irreducible holomorphic symplectic manifolds
- torsors, Cox rings and rational points on cubic hypersurfaces
